Extended Housing, Inc. shall strive to provide safe, affordable and quality housing for persons with severe and persistent mental illness, and/or very low-income individuals in Lake County.  We will work with all provider agencies within our network.  Extended Housing, Inc. shall actively find funding sources to purchase housing units throughout the County by exploring all means available; including grants, foundation money, fundraising ventures, and private and corporate solicitations in order to create a financially stable agency and bring all housing options through our agency.  Extended Housing, Inc. seeks to expand its operations, staff and tenants.  We shall also strive to educate the public about the individuals we serve.  Extended Housing, Inc. will effectively communicate its vision to the residents of Lake County and encourage community and individual participation in its mission.

Our Mission

Extended Housing’s mission is to create, develop and sustain safe, decent, and affordable housing for persons who are homeless, about to be homeless, and experience a severe and persistent mental illness.
